The current phase of the project, design, is underway. Future phases--right-of-way acquisition, utilities and construction are more speculative because funding is periodically evaluated by statewide planning.

To find the current STIP, go to www.dot.state.ak.us The STIP link is located under “HIGHLIGHTS” in the bottom left. You can download in Adobe Acrobat the current document and search for Trunk Road -- this will tell you what the current funding schedule is.
